I found that the roof had a tinny sound and I added some sound liner to the roof for a nicer ride.

wheel with the HELPER stud, hangs safely and allows easier installation. I hand install studs, run them on with the gun at setting "1" and then torque them setting on the ground

This is the top of the headliner. I have painted fiber glas resin on the liner to add some strength to the brittle board

You can see the passive cooling that my hood produces even when parked. With forward motion, the suction really pulls heat out.

Close up of the hood vents after parking the car, note the temperature reading at the crosshairs.

Please not the heat pouring out of the engine compartment with the rubber gasket pulled out. THis allows hood heat to vent when parked and the springgy thing is a temp probe to prove that it works at 55 mph. The probe was anchored under the wiper blade for this test. Really a simple mod that takes 20 seconds to do, about 30 seconds to undo.

Different view of heat flow out of the hood from a different angle. This is really a one banana modification. More difficult mods require you to tie 2 bananas to the problem for a monkey to fix, old IBM lingo... This is just the removal - pull off- the rubber gasket just infront of the windshield, in the summer. Enjoy

A quick coat of rust reformer solves the issue. Being too high energy, I did not wait for it to dry thus the glossy look, it dries like the photo of the A arms taken earlier.

Here is another of the exhaust that i paint in the fall with the high temp aluminum in a rattle can. Lasts about a year and prevents agressive rusting. The bolts that hold the front and back halves together, are replaced with stainless steel, I hate rust.

Popped the ear off the headlight housing. Decided to fix it with JB weld, but how to really brace it, As you can see the screw was run thru the tab and into the housing. The use of a screw both anchors the tab but also increases its strength while the epoxy cures. When gluing plastic, be sure to scratch the surface to allow the glue to have a surface with "TOOTH"

While under the car I saw that the body was showing signs of surface rust that was becoming thick. Wire brushing it helps, but I used the rust reformer by Rustoleum to stop it. This product dries with a nice matte black finish that matches the factory black well.

If you get a gauge at harbor freight, the gauge is small and hard to really read, get a nice big one on ebay that is in the range you want, this one was 0-100 psi

I have a relay powering my compressor so that it only runs when the lights in the garage are on. This prevents leaving it on while away, and prevents issues with burst hoses or lines.

In the fall I like to give the exhaust another coat of high temp paint to prevent rusting. Wanna delay replacing all of that exhaust work if possible, keeps rust out of my face when working under the car too.
