Well, sad ending to this saga, with the exception of the parts: Here is the last communication I had with Mike Carney, after the dispute was decided on my behalf:

I TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR NOT SENDING IN A SAFE AND APOLOGIZE FOR NOT PERSONALLY DELIVERING...YOU GOT A GREAT DEAL AND SOLD ONE FOR THE COST OF ALL 6 YOU ARE A SCAMMER YOU WERE TRYING TO MAKE MONEY AND GET PARTS FOR FREE .....S C U M B A G A HOLE

And what I wrote to him:

No need to yell, Mr. Carney...no need to be sarcastic, and no need, absolutely, for name calling. I was warned about you...but after the fact. I'm a member of CrossfireForum.org, and a number of people mentioned that there might be a problem. Nothing left to say, and don't write me again at either address. Negative feedback will be left, along with a recommendation to contact me so I can send e-mail proof of your abuse.

So Ebay/paypal came to a resolution in your favor? All he had to do was man up and admit he could have done a better job protecting them and made restitution with you instead of getting all bent out of shape.

Shady character and no harm letting someone else know. Not the first one and won't be the last.

That's what I thought...he claimed he had no more coils... *shrug* OK, but it didn't call for the attitude. He could have done a partial refund, but never offered. Stuck to 'It's not my fault...' Hopefully, someone will contact us before dealing with him.

 

Looks like he's followed up on seeing his forum reviews.. Edit: just pulled him up on ebay.. your feedback shows as positive .. ??
