Default HELP!!! BAS/ESP light on

The other day I hit a small curb on the driver side going about 25mph. Car still rides fine no shakes or visual damage. Two day after that the BAS/ESP light came on and wont go off. I did the rest, turning the steering wheel and all. It goes off for a second but comes back on. Has anyone else had this problem. Please let me know if you have. Thank you

you might have knocked off the alignment of the sensor, , look at both behind front wheels and make sure the ,,,black line goes to the sensor the same way on both sides. , jim

The steering angle sensor is in the steering column and that is what is realigned when you do the steering wheel stop to stop procedure.
I think you are referring to the speed sensors and they are on the inside of the wheel so they are pretty well protected.
As the light on problem occurred a day or so after the bump I'd guess that the light on situation is not connected to the bump.

SAS OPERATION
The steering angle sensor is a digital sensor with nine light-emitting diodes. The diodes within the sensor are used
to detect rotation and position of the steering wheel. This sensor can detect the steering wheel rotation and position
up to 720° of rotation. The steering angle sensor has continous battery voltage supplied by fuse 14 in the underhood
accessory fuse block.

Checking fuse #14 mentioned above would be a good first step, although I doubt that is the problem. Possibly a brake switch malfunction?
