Default need help ASAP-Front HUB Bearings??

Hi

I had a right front tire go bald and noth the left, so I assumed my alignment was off. went to the alignment guy and he said I needed some camber kits.. Got a 2nd opinion and I'm told that I need two front Hub bearings for my 04 crossfire, however I can't seem to find any online.... only for the rear. Has anyone had this problem before or know the part number? The mechanic said that my tire may fall off???

Thanks

Rock auto lists the fronts; SKF part number BR12 (R) and BR17 (L). I only see one bearing per wheel in the service manual though and there is a note that there are 2 required per car (?).

what makes them think the hub is bad? If it is bad races, most new bearings come with them. Maybe they assume they are hub assys and not old style bearing type.

I'm not sure.. I saw them wiggle my wheel up and down... I didn't take it to a chrysler dealership though, as I didn't want the fee just too look at it. Just a regular mechanic ( alignment shop) I asked them if I just needed bearings but they said that no I needed the hub too

that was the second opinion. First I took it to national tire and battery for an alignment and the guy said I needed camber kits, but the second guy said he didn't look thorougly....

Thanks! Forgot about the SLK option... I'm going to re-confirm the Hub Bearings are the issue and then order these...

You just have to look at the bearings and races and then decide.

Usually when the bearings are bad you'll hear a loud humming sound while driving. Do you have any noise? There was a thread a few years ago that a few people had to tighten the hub nut to adjust the play in the bearings because they were to loose.
