Steering Shims ?
Re: Steering Shims ?
I haven't - but I've only searched briefly for a bump steer kit.
How bad is the steering once these cars are lowered?
I'm assuming it's not that bad a problem for everyday use, as nobody appears to have complained about it, and enough people have lowered theirs.
It would be nice to know prior to lowering mine.

Steering rack is a general term to describe the gear housing that makes-up the steering mechanism of a car... Yes, I know we have a reciprocating ball as opposed to a rack & pinion, if that was the point you were trying to make...
So, let's get back to the question... Has anyone found a shim kit or bump steer kit for the Crossfire ? And has anyone found a panhard rod or watts linkage for the Crossfire ?

Re: Steering Shims, Panhard Rod, Watts Linkage ?
Derek,
I was under the impression (and thought I had seen this for myself) that the rear of the car has independent suspension. Is this not correct?
If it has IRS, then the pahard bar and Watts linkage wouldn't be very useful. Probably an even stiffer sway bar in the front and rear would help, along with different struts/shocks.
Beyond that I'm clueless.

PS: I passed on the show in South Carolina... ABC didn't want to pay enough to make it worth my while to spend 6 months out of town... So, let's go play with NASA this season... Let's plan to do the event at Laguna Seca... I love that track...
