I purchased a 2004 black Crossfire not too long ago (a few months), all the way across the country from Pennsylvania (I'm in Los Angeles). It had roughly 24,500 on it, we're up to 27,000, more or less.

I noticed a leak recently, and I want it to be checked out and whatnot.

I've called around various places from Chrysler dealers (which made me nervous when they told me they hadn't seen "one of those" for a few years) to independent german/euro shops. The independent shops either tell mer:

a) sorry, we only service german makes (i explain to them it is an SLK320 and they are usually puzzled)

a) we can't diagnose it properly due to it having different "software"

b) we don't know what we are dealing with, so we can't service it

Can anyone in the LA area recommend me a few independent shops?

I know I'll likely get ripped off at Chrysler dealers, but if i can find somewhere where I know they'd take care of it properly, I guess I'll have to suck it up unfortunately. I'd prefer an independent shop however, I don't necessarily have the $$$ to just throw around left and right.

I'm in the 562 area Long Beach/Downey/Cerritos/La Mirada/Norwalk/Whittier/Lakewood. Buena Park/Cypress/Fullerton even. So ideally I'd prefer it somewhere nearby.

Anyone? I'd greatly appreciate it.
