Default Remap - OBD or ECU removal?

Hi All,

I've been getting conflicting advice by people after my cash.
Can my N/A be remapped through the OBD port or do I have to remove the ECU?

Thanks

$400 for a canned ECU mod? That seems excessive.

Eurocharged will run 'specials' from time to time on their tunes. Or, just call them, and maybe you can get a remote tune, and they will discount it. That fee lasts the lifetime of your ownership if you do any other mods where they need to do a re-tune, it is free.

Thanks Guys,

We have Eurocharged in the UK, and I guess once I've got the kit and the files if I were to get another N/A I could put the same file in it for zero cost? If so it seems pretty good value then. Or will it specific to the one ECU?

Ecu specific.. and I've caught wind.. life time tunes are not a part of the game anymore.. but not needed on the N/A as its parameters are enough to adapt to the minor mods we can make.

Tuning another car ONLY saves you the shipping cost on the cable.. been there done that.. and for the shipping fee they got to send me a second cable.. that is $100 if you try to purchase it by itself.
