Default Front euro license plate bracket

I would like to mount a german(Stuttgart) license plate to the front of my SRT. I lived in Stuttgart for 3 years, and thought it would be cool and a constant reminder of one of the best periods of my life. Anyway, I will need to find a Euro license plate bracket to mount the plate. Can anyone tell me a source where I can find one.... Any members in Europe that may have an extra that they could part with. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would imagine a Chrysler dealership either here or in Germany could help you out there - also possibly look at fleabay.... good luck

You can find them here in the states. I Bought one for my Mini. I will try and find the url for you, but you can just Google "European plates" and find them.

I was thinking of doing this, ebay is FULL of them - but I question the quality of the products they are selling.

Sure, I can find the license plates and the frames on ebay and other sites. What I am looking for is the bracket to hold the plate on the bumber.

Thanks for your help FP. The frame that you are referencing is just a frame that allows you to mount the license plate to a bracket without having to make holes in the plate. Let me see if I can do a better job of describing what I am looking for. Ok, on our cars we have a bracket for mounting a license plate to the front of the car. It is item 15 in the following illustration:

Once you have the bracket (item 15) mounted on the bumper, you can then mount a license plate and optionally a license plate frame. So, what I am looking for is a European version of item 15 in the above drawing so that I can mount a german license plate and license plate frame to it. The following is a picture of the european version of item 15 above that is made for the Crossfire:

Although this one has been painted, you get the idea. Once I have this installed, then I could mount the german license plate and frame to this bracket. The following is a license plate with frame that is currently listed on ebay:

Sorry if I was not clear as to what I was looking for before. I hope that this helps.

Thanks

Bob

Gotcha, but so you know. The bracket they sell serves both purpose. It also gets screwed on the bumper. I just don't care to make holes in my bumper, but that is also the case with the US bracket.

The one I bought for the Mini gets screwed onto the bumper, and the plate then goes on over the frame.

Here are the instructions.

Ok, I had given that some thought as to weather or not the frame would be sufficient without the bracket. I even thought about using velcro between the frame and bumper to ensure that it follows the curves of the bumber. Unfortunately, I already have holes drilled in my bumper from a previous owner, so this would also serve to cover those unsightly holes that I already have. I think that I will give it a try and see how it fits without the bracket. Thanks FP
