On the Saturday night there will be a party in the large event marquee.

The theme is Grease / 50's - not compulsory but most will be dressed up. Hats/headress is fine if not full fancy dress. Grease / Rock 'N' Roll / Rockabilly / 50's / Teddy Boys etc. will be the order of the day......

You need to provide your own liquid refreshment. There will be a limbo competition, and prizes for the best costumes.

Included during the evening as the sun sets will be the GLOW SHOW with many UKC club cars on on display outside the marquee.

 

Sounds like a laugh. I’ll be at the O2 looking at large puppet dinosaurs.

 

I see the weather is preparing itself for the Billing meet! I wonder if it might rain it self out by then - my car has not had the cover off for over week, I cant remember what it looks like now!

Ken we need your services to do another rain dance!!!

 

Steve-uk...I've just relized why my rain dance has of late only produced a negative responce (wet weather)..Its down to the replacment knee, its effected the outcome and has also stopped me break-dancing!

Hi everyone, I will be there Sunday only, it is possible I may be able to get there for some of Saturday, but fully intend to be there for most if not all of Sunday. We could do with collecting pictures for next years calendar so anyone that wants to take photos and sees any photgenic shots then please take some !!

 

Same goes for me - Sunday will get there approx 10.00, Sat looks doubtfull as my new brake disks are finally here ( 2 week wait) and I want to get them fitted on Sat.

Look forward to seeing the gang and lots of Crossfires - oh and a few PT's !

Something has cropped up this morning that means I won't be able to make it to Billing until late this afternoon. Apologies to anyone attending today.

 

Just got back from London. Will be setting out between 8 and 9 tomorrow. I’ll be the jaded looking one in a dark grey Crossfire which looks as if she’s been having adventures (ie slightly grubby).

 

Just returned from a great day at Billing Aquadrome - 7 Crossfires in attendance in fantastic sunshine (well done Ken) The great weather brought out the crowds and as guests of the UK PT Cruiser Club we were made very welcome and lots of interest was shown in our cars (even to the extent that someone wanted to buy one of the cars - but more later on that) We have been asked back again next year and to include our cars in the competitions etc. Big thanks go to Chris (lissXF) for organising the meet - ps - hope Chris got home ok - we fitted a sprint booster to his car at the meet!

Great picture's from the Billing meet..Its the first meet that V6 AXF has not attended, a few pings at the heart springs, but once I win big on the lottery..as General Mac Aruther once said...I will return.

Pleased the weather was kind on the day. Did any of the Crossfire owners join in the party mood , with fancy dress etc, as I recall Chris Lissfx mentioning it was an option over the weekend.

Hi Ken - yes it was a shame you couldnt be there, but it was a great day and everyone enjoyed a good chat and there was plenty to see. Those that attended were only there on the Sunday, no one went on the Sat, with Chris being the one, and only, Xfire there on Sat night - I think he blended very well with the PT guys on the Sat night!

it was a good day - lots of PT Cruisers to see, and it seems that the Crossfires attracted some attention. It was very sunny, so the cars all gleamed and shone.

I have one picture which I took on my iPhone yesterday. There are more, but I’ve not got them off the camera yet. I must rescue my backup drives form the lockup before I start working on those (and others I took last week). I gave Marlene an impromptu was when I turned up - she had most of Dorset over her after a week of adventuring.

I had a really good day, thanks Chris for helping to organise it and pass on my thanks to the "cruzers" for letting us attend. I have a few pics to post which includes Steve standing next to his car.

Yes it was another really good week end to see everyone again with out Crossfires. I will deffently be there again next year and hopefully even more crossfires.....If there is another calander for next year could you let me know as it would be nice to order one if my pink beauty is in it.
