Default FP traveling from USA to UK

Hi All
Our friend from the USA and adviser of all things Xfire, FP is visiting the UK. He's in the High Wyconbe area from Sunday 31th Aug until Thursday 4th Sept.

Perhaps a few of us could arrange to meet FP on the Sunday which is probably the best day for most of us, for a chat and a beer. Do use this post if available for a small informal meet with our colleague FP.

I can make the Sunday around lunch time.

It will be my pleasure if I get to meet some of our members across the pond.

I'm staying at the Crowne Plaza in Marlow.

A great guy and a world traveler.
FP lives about 40 minutes from me and we hook up in Chicagoland occasionally. I wish I were coming along to meet all ya.

Well if Kens in the chair thats even better !
I just had an expensive week -
1 years road tax,
new rear tyres ordered,
new rear disks and pads fitted,
8 ltrs of Mobil 1,
K&N's fitted,
oil filter,
and my first MOT on the horizon,

Looks like jam sandwiches for the rest of the month for us!!!

Thumbs up Re: FP traveling from USA to UK

4th meet indeed!

I'm good for next Sunday 31st, so that's half of the UK Car Washing Team that will be in attendance. What I wear will depend on the weather...

Good new's that we have four attending the FP meet so far. Steve-UK, sad new's to hear about thr food rationing..the pleasures of owing a Xfire..but unlike me, I bet your road tax was not £400.00 !! .

We need a meet location for the 31st. I suggest..subject to other idea's..we meet in the hotel car park where FP in staying. It's the Crown Plaza..Marlow. post code..for sat nav's..SL7 1GJ. Perhaps you should also confirm the full address details on the internet.

How about we locate a local ale house in Marlow, perhaps along the Thames..and FP could travel with one of use. If the area is known to any of the attending Xfire owners..then do suggest an alternative meet and greet location..we can still collect FP from hotel..

Its only a few miles up the road for me Ken. I should be able to make it. May be I should ask April first
Marlow's a nice place, lots of little shops for the ladies and river walks along the Thames.

Hey FP

What a shame - no car wash wanted this time, and I'd arranged for the girls to do the car wash this time, oh well better cancel it then!
Cheers

Hi,
I’ll try to be along. It’s going to be a weekend of driving for me - I’m on taxi duties on Saturday as well.
