Yes Paul you got it - but watch the posts - we may meet up somewhere else; possibly a pub close to this location,

Hi All

I've had a chat with Ken and because I only live a few miles away from Marlow, I've found the following place to meet.

If we were to meet in the Pound Lane Car Park in Marlow (by the park) which can be found at the bottom of the high street with most of the shops in it, you will then come to two mini roundabouts. Head right here and the car park is about 300 metres on the left hand side. This is a good location for Marlow and not to far away from the Crowne Plaza Hotel. If we were to meet there at mid day, one of us could slip away and collect FP from the Hotel. From here we can take in the shops, the river and cafe's etc. Afterwards a drive to Henley on Thames then on to Stonor Park which is the oldest Manor House in the country. Stonor opens its doors at 2:00pm. A great venue for pic's. Or if you like, the village of Turville Heath isn't far away. This was where the Vicar of Dibley was filmed.

Anyway, what we do after we have met is up to you. There is plenty around to do. What do you think?

Jon. An ideal meet location etc and easy for all to find..plus a few shops for the girl's to check out. I have ordered one of my special hot and sunny days for Sunday 31th Aug...well, it worked last time.

What we do need though, is a Xfire owner with a spare seat available on the day to collect FP from the hotel and transport him on the country run....any volunteers?

Cheers

Ken.

Remember FP you will be on the left side of the car but not driving it.

PS...Ken,
This was a great idea and it sounds like you guys are making a great plan together.

Cool Re: FP traveling from USA to UK

Hi there - Jon has come up a great plan there, and if Ken can come up with the weather we've got it sorted!
(I've heard he does a strange dance ritual somehow involving his dice to bring out the sun)
I will have an empty co-pilot seat on the day, as Andrea has had a better offer (but we wont go into that) Looking forward to great day!

Sounds good. Just to help (and confirm), is this the correct car park?

Looks like I’ll need to give my car a wash - she’s looking a bit grubby at the moment.

I've been out of touch for a few weeks with my Euro trip (I'll post up some pics soon) and work but just had a PM about this from Ken. I should be able to make it, it will be great to meet up with FP and the rest of the usual suspects

Hope the weather improves enough to polish all my bling before we all meet.
Had to wait till now to commit as was waiting to fit new rubber on my rear wheels, all done today so ok to travel now.
