Default New used rear tires and wheels

Hi,
The wheels on my Chrysler Crossfire were already when I bought the car aftermarket wheels. They look very good but are not of correct size, smaller than the original ones. I have for a couple of months looked for used ones with tires that fit my car and I want them to be a bit wider too, 19x9.5". I have now found and bought them.

Here are some photos and text over my project:

2005 years Chrysler Crossfire: Wheels and Tires back

It's winter now and I will contiune later in the spring. The garage is to narrow to do any work in. When I'm satisfaid with the rear wheels I start looking for similar wheels to the front. 18x8" or maybe 18x8.5".

/Lars

Lars, you are making some assumptions that are not correct. The OEM rims on a Limited are 18" 7.5 front, and on the rear 19" 9.0 as it came from the factory. I am running 285/30/19 on the rear and using the original Ronal (made in Poland) rims. It is a stretch, but it does work. 18 x 8 in the front is plenty; Don't go wider. My original rims hit the fender splash shields when i get into the turns with speed and hit any kid of bump in the road.
Nice sky right now with Mars, Jupiter and Saturn and then Venus in the morning. ENJOY (At least at my Latitude they look good, fairly high in the sky)

Hi,
A lot of thanks for the comment and information. I have corrected the front width, I already have the 18x7.5" information correct on another page, I missed that. The page is updated now.

The size of the front wheels will be easy to chose for me, they only manufacture the Imaz wheels of size 18x8", not 18x7.5 or 18x8.5". You have 18x7.5" wheels in front, but the tire, is it 225/40 18", or ?

ps.
The sky, it's grey here, clouds every day and night the last week.

Yes I run the OEM setup in the front: 18x7.5" rims with 225/40 tires.
