Default ALL 2004 and 2005 TSB's as of 6/24/2005

I have all of the 2004 and 2005 model year Crossfire TSB's available in PDF format. Some apply for BOTH model years. To make it easy on everyone, I have collected them into separate folders for each model year. If you want them please contact me via email it can get to be too much to answer all the PM's.
PLEASE DO NOT PM ME UNLESS YOU HAVE A QUESTION.
SEND AN EMAIL TO vsilvia@silviasonline.com with the EXACT subject line:
2004 TSB's (for the 2004 model year)
2005 TSB's (for the 2005 model year)
I have a mail rule set up to auto reply with the TSB's in a ZIP folder. The message size is about 4.4MB so make sure your email account can accept messages of this size and that your mail box is not full!
They are in Acrobat PDF format and you will need Acrobat Reader 5.0 or higher.
DON'T ASK FOR BOTH I HAVE THE COMMON ONES IN EACH FOLDER. 2005 SPECIFIC ONES AT BOTTOM OF LIST

Default 23-019-04 Rattle Sound From Liftgate Area 2004-05-25

I would like to know more detail about this TSB. More importantly how I can fix this rattle side myself.

If you have any reply as to how to fix this yourself, please share it with me. I checked with the dealer to see about having it fixed under the TSBs - they told me it would take at least two trips - one for "diagnosis" (has to be confirmed by a mechanic) and, then, parts have to be ordered and installed at another trip. The service manager was clueless about the TSBs on this car - sooo... would prefer to just fix it myself. I did take the interior trim apart (easy!), but couldn't locate the source of the rattle (I did tie up a couple of items with cable-ties and lubed everything with silicone spray in the wing's gearbox). Also, I've pasted in a posting from another forum on some easy things to do to improve performance! You're welcome to contact me offline at my email... Robert

About six weeks ago, I bought a "new" '04 Crossfire (6 speed) and, so far, I've enjoyed this little car as much (or more) than anything I've owned over the years (the list includes several Bentleys, a Rolls, a Maserati, a Citroen, Mustangs, Lincolns, and many others)! For a purchase price of $23,800, there is NOTHING that comes close in value!

Being the inveterate tinkerer that I am with all my vehicles, I immediately began to look for "bolt on" accessories to give just a little more "oomph" (though, stock is pretty impressive!) and to date have done three things:

1) K&N Filters (takes two #33-2290) - order from anywhere!

2) InaZma HyperVoltage System (mfgd by Sun of Japan) (available from www.eautoworks.com - they have been just super to deal with - responsive, helpful, etc.- go to the website and you can read about the system). A friend of mine with an '04 Mazda RX8 added one to her car with similar results - a bit more torque, smoother and faster accelerator response!

3) MagneCor KV85 Competition Ignition Wires - part #65211(www.magnecor.com - custom made per order) - great service!

All of these items have improved the performance of my CF without question! The biggest effect came with the installation of #2 (parts were installed a few days to weeks apart in the order noted above).

I have NO financial interest in any of these companies (darn it)!

Does anyone have the file he offered?
His email no longer works and I'd like to have a copy of the 2005 files.

Thanks.

Thanks, but I looked there.

There is a list which I printed out, but I wanted a detailed summary of each issue. AllData appears to charge you for this information.

So far as I know, the only way to get the "Fix" info is to subscribe to the Alldata service.

Sorry!

Here's all of the info you'll need for the TSB's, regardless of the model year. Go to the other Crossfire site, CrossfireCommunity.Net, click on Forum, scroll down to the technical section and click on it. The first listing is the TSB section, click on it and 10 pages will appear, which includes all of the details. Download it to a CD for future use. Just print one or more and present it to the service manager after you explain the issue(s) you've encountered with your Crossfire. I've done this in the past and it works...
