FREE OEM exhaust muffler mod (Low tone)
FREE OEM exhaust muffler mod (Low tone)
I didn't have to spend a dime and just an hour and a half of my time!
I was looking for a low tone for my Crossfire, not a tinny, raspy, trumpety sound. Not into that.
This is how to go from too quiet to attention getter without breaking the bank!

I did this back in 2008 with no real gain, so I went to the delete of the whole tank. BTW tigging the case back together took $$ in gas and rods as it is stainless steel, and I did it myself. Woody
I have not been able to find the F150 stainless steel exhaust tip installation to replace the muffler, yet.

I saw in your photo posts, looks like you have the smaller SRT6 muffler?
Mine is the larger standard muffler with a huge room for the lower tone.
I guess, it was still free for me because I did the welding myself.
Any way, I just thought I would share my experience, might help someone.
