So easy even a BLACK Crossfire owner can do it!

I think I have just encountered this issue. Over the past two days, I have tried to start the engine & all lights come on & fan speeds up & everything seems ok but the engine will not turn over or even act as if it is starting. I checked battery & it reads 12.95 volts & when it was running once I checked to see if the it was charging & it was charging at 14 volts. I looked at the terminals & did find where one the connectors was splitting so I bought a replacement heavy duty connector. It cranked up, so I went to where I had to go about 40 miles from home on the way I stopped at a store & returned & cranked right up. Went to final destination & came out tried to start & of course no start. Thought it was the new connector & after 45 min of working on it in the rain I had to call my son to pick me up.
Does this sound like what is happening in this thread to check this out? I need to carry all the tools with me to try & get it running to get it home.
Thanks
G

Pulled my RCM yesterday to check the solder connections but they were fine. Were only some cars effected by this? There is no sign of the connections being resoldered previously but I guess its possibly the original owner already had the board replaced under warranty. Anyway, mine looked perfect.

I hope this will solve my problem. I have replaced the Crankshaft thingy and now in the last week or so it has been a no start. Well, yesterday it was 105 degrees in the middle of a busy highway when it stopped. NOT FUN!! I thought before I trade my crossfire, I would give the forum a try to find an answer. I will have this done and see if it fixes it.
The CPS thread saved me! Hopefully, this will too. I love, love love my car but I have to have reliable transportation.
I will keep you posted.
Thanks

You are having us on aren't you? Nobody has ever seen the elusive Hope, except vague reports of sightings at the Dragon and now this.
This has got to be a hoax, a good one though.
What's the next thread title .... "Does Pizza Guy have any Hope? - Days of our lives - Part 2, the Sequel", or maybe "Hopeless in Columbus"
But on the off chance that this is true, ignore all the above and you have my best wishes and commiserations.

Now lets get back to the thread topic if we can.
