Default HELP! Service code 693?

So, I purchased an '05 limited two days ago and I love it. 14,800 miles on the odometer. This morning when I started it up there were two wrenches and the number 693 blinking on the display where the miles are usually located. They went away after a couple of seconds. Started the car again, same thing. What do these mean?

Thanks in advance.

You are 693 miles from a computer scheduled oil change.

If that is really what it is, I feel like a moron. Thank you though.

Yep, you're a moron!!!
Don't feel stupid.
That question crops up at least once a month.
Somebody on the forum once said "I have a symbol of a man running, where the miles should be - what does that mean?".

Yeah, I had not yet discovered the search function for the forum. Pretty helpful stuff.

Cool Re: HELP! Service code 693?

Doesn't 2 wrenches mean a "B" service?

You can download the Owners Manual from:

http://www.chrysler.com/en/owners/manuals/index.html

and section by section Service Manuals from here:

http://homepage.mac.com/gregmeach/XFire/

Best!

Correct.....one wrench for "a" service schedule, two wrenches for "b" service schedule.

Curiously.......does everyone's show the miles remaining to that degree of detail.......mine only shows hundreds, i.e 400...300...200...100..then to -100.

Mine just shows it in 100 increments - I have an 05 Coupe.
