Cruise Control not engaging - DRB3 seems fine - ideas?
Cruise Control not engaging - DRB3 seems fine - ideas?
Hi team!
I got back my XF which was a huge relief, considering it spent more time at the mechanic than between my hands.
ECU / SKREEM / RCM changed.
The main issue for me is that the Cruise Control does not engage at any moment. Neither at slow speed, nor at high.
Before, it was working flawlessly.
Tires weren't changed and have the good pressure.
I suspect the TPM to have issues 1) the light is off on the IC when i turn the key, 2) DRB3 says that "no response from TPM on PIN 15" (8E-17 on the service manual).
But i don't think these are related to the CC...
Cruise control lever is working fine when interrogated from the PCM with DRB3 (I'll send the vid in this message), the same for the brake switch interrogated by the ESP (video enclosed).
Any clues to continue the diagnosis?
Thanks!

Hi Mike,
Thanks for your answer. no BAS/ESP light appears at this moment.
I've found a very interesting thread on the mercedes forum stating that the ECU has to be programmed to keep cruise control. my ECU having been changed, I believe this could be the cause. I'll update this thread once I gather more information
