Default Vibrations when accelerating, decelerating, or when hitting puddles or raining too ha

I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and/or knows of the issue and solution. I actually just made an account just to ask this question. It seems like around the 2000 to 3000 rpm level if I get there quickly a vibration starts that feels and sounds like I'm hitting rumble strips. It also happens when I hit a puddle or when it's raining too hard. Vibrations are linked to rpm. Sometimes it randomly stops, but most of the time it doesn't stop until I pull over and turn the car off and back on, and even then, sometimes it continues.

let me know if you know what may be causing this, want more information, or if you have also experienced this. I love this car and I don't want this to ruin my love for it.

Thank you for the reply. I've looked into it, and it seems this is a good candidate for my problem but I'm not quite able to find any symptom descriptions that perfectly match mine. As help, would you be able to tell me what exactly in my symptoms led you to that rather than crankshaft bearings or torque converter? (The other things I'd been looking into) so that I could broaden my seaches?

Have you looked at the support? You sound like you would be upset if the cause was not something expensive.😉

How many miles on the car, it always helps to tell us.

Ha! I'm hoping it's nothing expensive, I suppose it's fearful thinking.
It's pretty high miles. Around 175k. I got it as a 16th birthday gift 7 years ago and I drove it like an idiot, letting it go 20k miles over oil changes and seeing how high up that speedometer I could go

ok do this take off very easy somewhere around 30 to 50 mph u will get a rumble or shaking slow down it stops... now stop the car take off hard almost like u want to spin the rear wheels,,u will here the rumbling knocking LOUD ,,,,and shaking , now take it home remove the drive shaft ,,,oh first go to needswings.com order a new bearing with support housing, he has the correct one for the crossfire,,
now read everything u can on driveshaft (as it is a two peice and has alinement bumps on each half. while driveshaft is out check the U-joint yes we have a u-joint on the drive shaft post what u find ,
