Default Jet performance power flow maf sensor v6 m112 NA

Hi new to the forum I have 2004 crossfire N/A
And I bought a Jet power flo maf sensor from jet performance I haven't tested it yet but its says it let's 45% more air flow than the stock maf wondering if any of u guys tried it out I would love to stumble on to new mods we can use that would benefit the NA crossfire s as I know they are underpowered compared to the srt6 I already have a modified stock intake with k&Ns the larger throttle body no primary or secondary cats a super 1

0 flowmaster and it says it's best with an air intake and free flowing exhaust

Buying the larger, 74mm, Mercedes MAF fitted with the NA MAF sensor would have been cheaper. This has been done many times and is explained in a PDF.

The ad says "of up to 45%"... Sounds like expensive SNAKE OIL. BTW, you can feed TOO MUCH AIR into an engine, the F/A ratio can only adapt to a certain ratio before degraded performance slaps you in the face. Plus the exhaust can only process so much as well. You could actually ruin your engine over time (especially not having a balanced intake vs vacuum vs backpressure. OK, am I making sense? Like those IAT power boosters ( The ones that 'fool' the IAT sensor ), they just do not work well.

IAT ==inlet air temperature
it is the AFR (air fuel ratio) that you need to pay att to and adjust , you want between 11.0 to 12.3,, the crossfire runs about 10 to 10 .5 stock Very rich and safe set at the factory.. more air less fuel the afr goes up and so does the HP,,, too high like 12.9 to 13.5 ,melts your
pistons (if you run wot all the time) and no one runs wot all the time ,,,I come close. I run 12.3 I have a adjustable fuel regulator

Thanks for highlighting my last sentence that was in error! The jist of the post was to debunk the post of the member who thought $ well spent on a packaged MAF (Jet Chip MAF sensor?) that was supposed to save $$$ while costing huge $$$$. As you can see, the corrected post makes that one sentence more understandable like I originally wanted it too. Sometimes, we are our own worst proofreaders...

Amx1397 Is right But I still ended up being a Guinea pig and tried it out and despite being snake oil it did deliver way more air than I expected giving me back low end power increasing top end on 91 but causing the car to go Lean to counteract it I put a Sonoco super Sport 100 octane because of the excessive air afraid of knocking in the engine but when I did that the jet maf sensor with the 100 octane and my stock ram air style crossfire intake plus the larger throttle body woke up the car and pulled hard enough to beat a 392 dodge charger from a 60 roll and leave him 3 cars back and keep up with a m4 cs in the canyons so u know what I'm happy next mods eurocharged tune bigger fuel pump needswings headers fuel regulator air fuel ratio gauge and down pipes I'm gonna get all the hp I can get weather its 6 hp or 10 hp it adds up

Lets see documented testing on a dyno/computer hooked up monitoring all functions. Unless this is in a controlled environment, butt dyno results don't count. Are you an employee of JetChip.com?

I can understand the suspicion. Your first post includes a product that is sold, the part number, website URL, picture of the product, marketing verbiage, and a glowing review.

New members don't usually enter the forum community this way.
