replacing SKREEM needs new PCM and Key Fob?!!
replacing SKREEM needs new PCM and Key Fob?!!
I've posted recently about needing a new SKREEM for my crossfire. The dealership service manager has now sent me a notice from Chrysler explaining why I have to spend $4,000 additional dollars to replace the PCM and key fob.
Can someone take a look at the attached and tell me if it makes sense? Has anyone only replaced their SKREEM without it failing after 40 starts?
Thank you so much!
Sharon

Re: replacing SKREEM needs new PCM and Key Fob?!!
Get the car away from the damn dealer, this is asinine.
If they did try to start it 40 times, they nuked the PCM/ECM - sue their asses.
Also, please read my sigline - you NEVER take these cars to Chrysler dealers.

Edit
The SKREEM will be wrecked after 40 starts when you have disconnected the battery 39 times and try to get the car going again. Your dealer is misleading (lying) to you.
