I can probably get a fairly good pic of them tomorrow, but the pic won't accurately show which connector pin each wire goes to the problem is complicated further by the dull colors on the wires.

What will happen if I open the caps on the connectors to accurately show where each wire goes? Will the wires slip out of the connector with little or no force? have to know before I proceed. We have one Crossfire out of commission now, and I don't want mine to be the second one for the same reason.
In response of this message...You have understood exactly what I said. I have removed connectors since working on Subarus in 1978. My mistake was not paying attention to what I was doing and released the thing apart.Releasing the cover would be safe put what I guess I did after accidently releasing it was to move it while I never knew it was opened up. Ala_exfire found the answer I needed. Have tried to go to the site where he got it but can't

Starting two threads on the same subject with the same name confuses everyone, people answer in one thread and then find something different in the other. Just start one thread, I thought I was going nutty when I could not find one answer I had seen.

When I see that, I blow one thread away if I can, Dave.

Posting multiple threads on the same problem DOES NOT get you faster answers, it only makes a mess, as Dave said.

(Dave, are you are "Faulty Towers" fan?

Yes, you are exactly correct. I have mentioned earlier that I was not familiar with posting on a forum. I never knew what I was doing. This is a everyday thing from many of you, not me. I need help with this programming the switch. I don’t know how many times I’ve found people on Google telling me what to do. I just need some help. Thanks

I watched it back in the day sand liked it, it can now be seen on BritBox here which is a video streaming service for UK TV shows.
