Angry AC Issues! Yeehaw

Hey, everybody!
Over the past few weeks I've been having issues with my 2005 Chrysler Crossfire's AC not working/working when it felt like it.
I'll hop in the cars some days and it will work just fine blowing it's sweet cold air against the summer's heat, while other times it won't work at all and I'm left to sweat on the drive home from work.
I've replaced the AC blower resistor and that doesn't seem to have worked. What I have noticed after working with the car a little bit is that the AC will always work after me disconnecting the battery; it'll work for the day and maybe the next morning, but not when I hop in the car after work. Could it be a temperature issue, because it works much more often in the cooler mornings than the hot afternoons while the car is left baking in the parking lot.
I'm open to any and all suggestions! <3

Try the control module fix as this symptom seems temperature sensitive.

Is the light on the AC button on or off ?

ps Yeehaw Junction is about 60 miles from here.

Yeah, the red AC button is on on the snowflake icon in the center of the dash.

The instructions are on how to repair it if it is broken, try to fix it first.

Only if you have access to a known-good module from a wrecked car that you can buy for $20 or less.
I'd try to fix it, as Dave indicated.
