Default Spoiler has mind of its own!

This may have already been posted, however my spoiler has a mind of its own-
It seems to want to go up and down whenever it wants, and when i power off the car and am parked it is never in the down position. I'll hear it go down and up while im driving randomly, but when i try and toggle the control switch it doesnt move at all.
Is there a fix for this?

That is normally a harbinger of a battery going south ......

And if any speed sensor issues, it raises the spoiler for safety. Any ABS/brake warning lights?

Nope! ONly light on is a broken headlight bulb that needs fixing.
Im thinking it has to do with speed issues though, because it seems to go up and down after going certain speeds and certain times

Ive done multiple battery checks with a battery tester and they've all come up positive!

Unfortunately on the Crossfire the rear spoiler detects bad batteries before battery testers can by the number of "battery tested good but after the battery was replaced the spoiler acts fine" posts.

It could be a corroded ground, it could be a bad connection anywhere in the system also but by the posts, it's a battery.

The Crossfire spoiler is by far the best battery tester ever invented.

Nope, its random. It stays up when im parked, and the toggle switch wont affect it what so ever no matter which direction i put. After I go pretty fast then hit a stop light it goes down then comes back up again a few seconds after

Clean your battery terminals/posts and verifty that the battery ground cable at the chassis end is clean and corrosion free - if it looks like hell, replace the battery ground cable.

If it still acts up, replace your battery.

(How many of us telling you the same thing does it take? )

All my cables look good, and the ground to the car body looks just fine. I replaced the battery anyway and it still is doing the same thing.
What else could it be?

Best I can do is give you the wiring diagram and state a few possibilities :
1. Maybe the BCM is getting flaky speed sensor signals/data, or the BCM is flaky ? ?
2. Maybe the dash mounted spoiler switch is flaky ?
3. Intermittent wiring/connections ?

One more thing to try at no expense : remove the negative battery terminal, then all the connections to the BCM. Re-seating them might help.

#6 is the BCM :

Is the BAS/ESP light on? That will kick the spoiler up. When you first turn the car on not started yet do you get all the dash lamps test lighting like they should?

From starting the car to staying under 45 MPH around town does the spoiler ever go up?

The BAS/ESP light is not on.
When the car first turns on I can control the spoiler just fine, up and down.
Once I get going past a certain speed (not quite sure what it is exactly yet, but its usually after my first acceleration) the red light on the switch starts blinking, the spoiler goes up, and is no longer controllable until I restart the car.

How's your battery sir? Sporadic nature of a sporadic wing is classic battery failure.

As I said above, battery is fine. IT was acting up, and I finally just swapped the battery a few months ago and its still experiencing the same problem. Terminals and cables all are fine on battery.

Sorry when I clicked on this link it brought me right to here, and I didn't see all the responses. Still this sounds battery to me, or ground wire, have you replaced that yet? And when was this battery you bought manufactured? About twenty years ago I broke down in a small town, and the only auto parts store within 50 miles sold me a 10 year old battery. The warrantee was denied when I tried to enforce it 3 months later when the battery went south.

Just sayin.

It was a brand new battery made last year. My terminals have been cleaned and replaced, and my ground cable is making a perfect connection.
