Default help please, no start, lights flash, fob's not working

Monday fob had a problem unlocking doors, so I went to O'Reilly and put new batteries in both remotes.
Worked fine, drove 3 hrs to terra haute, drove around terra haute last night, no problems, replaced side marker lights with led, last night, remote locked doors when I went into hotel, got back from work heading to get oil changed and the fob would not unlock door, used the key to unlock and the lights flash and it will not turn over, neither fob will work, tried reaching pairing with no luck.
Cold here 30°
Put a new battery in car around 6-7 months ago.
Any suggestions??
Fob not working, lights flashing, no turn over.

After disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes remote worked so car started.
Just wanted to be careful due to the "30 start".
Being 3 hours from home and my shop & tools every week sucks.
Now I need to know why it did that and what I need to change so it will not happen again.

skreem module acting up? Or just something weird from changing the batteries.... I hate hearing about these funky problems....but the module could be ready to give you some trouble...

Since this is the first day temperatures have been freezing i was thinking the Central Locking Pump Module could have got water and froze.
But since I work 2-4 hours from home I need to figure out why and what needs replaced

FOB not working. I'm guessing in both cases not only did it not unlock.. but no flashing lights indication? Water frozen I could see interfering with locks.. but the electronics side should have indicated with the lights. Seems there have been a few lately that needed "disconnected battery resets" and haven't seemed to have any problems afterwards.

Yep, typical symptoms of a CRBFS ( Crossfire Related Brain Fart Syndrome ),
take 2 aspirins, disconnect battery, wait 20 minutes, reconnect and you both feel better.

Well then sounds like previous owner may have disconnected it.. so that takes out battery and corrosion issues..

When I had my battery disconnected I also took the battery out of fob's right before I hooked battery back up.
And only pu batteries back in spare fob, incase something happened to my fob I carry around.
This weekend when I am home I will put the battery back in the remote and resync it to the car. To test it
