Default Remote entry issue

Hello to all ! Once again I am in need of someone's expertise. So, after a trip to the stealership (yeah, I know, NO_ONE should go to the stealership, but I bought an extended warranty and ,THIS time, it probably saved by about $5,000.00!!) I have run into a bit of an unusual issue. It seems like EVERY time that I take it in for one issue, it comes back w/ a different one. So, when I took it in for repairs I took it in w/ my key NOT the key that is USUALLY used as the car belongs to the wife and when the towtruck driver came I gave him my key. When we picked up the car,my key operated normally. It started the car and opened the doors normally. One unlock opens the driver's door and another unlocks the rest. When the wife tried to use her keys, they would start the car but would not unlock or lock the car.As it turned out, we had to take the car back the following day as there were more issues w/ the car than what we dropped it off for and some of the things that it was dropped off for were not repaired. When I told them about the key issue, they said that it had never been programmed to the car. I said that the key had been starting AND unlocking the car for almost a year and a half now so if it had not been programmed that would have been impossible. They said that they programmed it and after they looked at the other problems,we picked up the car. NOW, after all of that , here is the rub...when she hits the unlock, the whole car unlocks. Being a woman , she appreciated the two push feature on the keys so that her door was the only one to unlock unless she wanted different.
I have been searching everywhere to find out how to undo this or reprogram it back to original but have had no luck. I could simply give her my key but it is pretty beat up. Nothing that I really cared about as I rarely drive the car or need my keys. I have tried the "key in two push and turn to on " method . Hoping that it might just overwrite whatever has been out into it now but no luck. Any ideas anyone ?? I REALLY do not want to take it back to this dealership and the next closest one to me is almost 100 miles away.

Press and hold lock and unlock button for about 5 seconds.. the little red lens where the key attaches should flash.. your done. I do believe it's in the owners manual.
