[2004 3.2 M112] Cylinder numeration
Re: [2004 3.2 M112] Cylinder numeration
I will give you an update on my issue, all I have done starting from point one:
1. I've replaced ignition coils on cylinders 1, 2 and 3.
2. I've deleted or the errors
3. Started up engine - it worked fine for about 5 miles, after that check engine started to blink again,
4. I've deleted or the errors again
5. I've disconnected the camshaft sensor on the left side of engine
6. Engine didn't started at all
7. I've connected the camshaft sensor
8. Car started and everything was fine for about 5 miles again
9. I've deleted or the errors again - still same errors as earlier
10. I've switched the 02 sensors
11. Car started and everything was fine for about 5 miles again
12. I've deleted or the errors again
13. Today in the these errors occurred:
P0134
P0135 - new one O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (probably my fault )
P0154
P0300
P0301
P0302
P0303
P0304
P0305
P0306
I have no idea what can shall I do next, I assume that camshaft sensor is ok. I've didn't even touched the right side of engine, though above errors, right side of engine works normally.
Do You have any idea what shall I check next ?
Best Regards
Łukasz

Re: [2004 3.2 M112] Cylinder numeration
This is gonna sound stupid I know, but here is what I would do :
To be certain that 12v is still being supplied to the 3 coil packs for the failing cylinders, I would wire up a small 12v light bulb to the black/dark green wire on coil pack #3 ( and ground ) with wires long enough to route out the rear of the hood and tape the bulb to the top of the hood where you can see it. ( reference the schematic in post #4 )
Make certain that the bulb lights as soon as you turn on the ignition.
Then drive the 5 miles and see if the bulb remains lit when the malfunction begins.
1. If the bulb is out at that point, then you are going to have to tear into the wiring and find where the intermittent open in the supply wire is.
2. If the bulb remains lit, then you will have to determine why the PCM is not supplying a ground to those coils when it should. Maybe some other member can help with this, as I haven't a clue how to determine that.

Fuel pump going out? Check the fuel pressure. It wouldn't explain just one bank misfiring but weak pumps are worse when they get hot.
It falls into 3 areas. Air (restriction or huge leak) fuel, lack of or way too much, or electrical. You could also have a mechanical problem but it's unlikely since the car runs fine when cold.

Refer to my other post. If the passenger side O2 was bad, you would missfire on cylinders: 1, 2, and 3 (like you were). If you switched them you would missfire on every cylinder because the O2's would be tied to the wrong banks. You switched the O2's and now every cylinder missfire's? Bad O2 on the passenger side man.
Re: [2004 3.2 M112] Cylinder numeration
When my cam sensor was acting up, it would flash indicating a missfire, keep flashing because it was non stop and most of the cylinders, and ultimately shut down spark completely from the cylinder(s). I didn't think it was supposed to or true at first but star DAS lists this as what happens over continuing missfire's.
