Default Code P0715 won't leave me alone

Hi all,

I replaced the conductor plate in the transmission, as well as the plug and filter. Topped it off and measured the proper amount of fluid. Unplugged the TCM, let it sit the plugged it back. Car still won't shift. Took it to Firestone, they cleared the code through the TCM and it came back on. I see it as a few different options.

1 - new TCM
2 - New solenoid (but which one?)
3 - new transmission.

Note - car has 53k miles and the transmission fluid came out brown and it looked like it was originally yellow when I took the valve body out the residue of atf was yellow.....

What should I do next?
Very frustrating because I paid above blue book value for the car 2 months ago and its been sitting for a month now and I've already spent hundreds...

code p0715 keeps coming up...

Thanks...

Eric

I see you have three options on your list.
here's #4 - New car.

Just joking.

I can only say read this and see if you see any similarities with your problem.
