8.iPod Interface for Crossfire NAV Radio ( He didn't build them but worked with the manufacturer to get them to work properly with these radios)

10.SilverSwitch Aftermarket Accessory Controller

12.Dual Throttle Controller (never did anything with it because once in a while it would act funny and he didn't want to sell anything that did not work the way he though it should.
13.MemoryTrac and ESP Module (Again, he never did anything with it because it just didn;t do what he had in his mind for it to do.
14.Crossfire DashDAQ Mounting Bracket and Low-Profile Extension Cables, if you have a dashdao you know what this looks like ,,oh that;s right you can't see it.

18.SRT6 Modified Gear Ratio TCU Software Upgrade ( made by him and speedriven),I have one with my 327 gears. and love it ,,,next may be 391 gears in my car..
I, along with Rudy and Alan (buggin),, spent a lot of time talking with and going over design details, sending Unitrax rear ends and axles and other things with Devin at UniTrax during prototyping of the LSD's which also fits the c32, slk320, srt6 and limited crossfires
again thank you Rudy,,, what are you coming up with next?
Oh, Did you guys know that Rudy has not owned a crossfire for almost two years now,but he keeps supplying great parts for us. he does have an engine, tranny, and lots of parts of a crossfire to work with.

Re: Tribute and thanks to Rudy Compart
Y'know Jim, you are right. Rudy is the most innovative and smartest of our members. He deserves a tribute!
I won't nominate him for the Nobel, as it is no longer worth anything.
Great knowing you Rudy! Thanks for everything listed and everything else, too.

Take care
Re: Tribute and thanks to Rudy Compart
Rudy is my friend and someone I can call anytime for an answer about anything Crossfire.
I needed a new upper radiator hose assembly a few years ago and called Rudy
He quickly located one and had it shipped overnight and I had it the very next day.
Then there was the time my Crossfire wouldn't run well enough to drive.
I called Rudy and told him what the car was doing
He diagnosed the problem as fuel pump and/or fuel filter.
I said lets just replace them both and he made a few calls and with parts from Needswings (Rob) and some quick shipping we were ready to get the job done
He installed my new fuel pump and filter on a Friday night after a long work week and got me back on the road in only a few hours time
He has done work on others cars in my garage late into the night on a couple occasions and I enjoy watching him and admire his knowledge and skills.
He is meticulous with every step of any project or repair that he does.
As others have said Rudy.....you are a valuable member on this forum and I too hope you will one day be back in a Crossfire again.
Happy to know you and have you as a friend

Re: Tribute and thanks to Rudy Compart
We all know he's a whiz on this platform -- and certainly give him thanks for that.
Many on here don't know what a truly great person he is. I've had the pleasure of hanging out with him several times, and each time was a treat. My wife and I consider him part of the family.
Cheers to an excellent guy.
