if i had to guess its because of the trans going into so many cars. maybe not 2 reverse speeds in 1 tranny but 2 reverse speeds based on what model car it goes into

My guess it does have two reverse gears, depending on whether you are switched to Standard or Wet.

are you referring to the sport or winter mode? wouldnt think anyone would be cruising backwards very fast

I would think it would just change the ratio of reverse gear.

Nice find. It looks like the n/a trans is rated at 330. Is that foot pounds or Newton meters?
