VERY COOL :!:

Whoever put it in wouldn't have happened to give you a wiring diagram of how they hooked it up did they? Cuz looking at the CF tech manual pages, this wiring scheme is BAFFLING :!:

Aaaahhh... I see your cell phone holder is working as well as mine :!: 8)

I think I can speak for Danwell too, we're both baffled by this wiring setup. So, if you can, yes we want it! I'm sure there are others interested too... at least I can download a Pioneer manual from their web site and compare it to how they wired you up and get SOME idea how to do it myself. You read the tech manual you can't tell if there's really an amplifier in there, or if each speaker has it's own amp on it there is power and ground running to each speaker... WHY if the thing is REALLY a power amp like it says????), etc. etc. etc.

I'll wait for the Chrome or aluminum version of AVIC to match the console.

Detachable face plate... and my car?! a mixture between Viper and Clifford products... RKST hooked me up huge because they know my dad really well there... so I got one of the best car alarm systems money can buy... 3 speakers were placed at impossible to get to locations... unless of course you had it up on a lift and I doubt that will happen when it has a 2 degree incline sensor... bumping the rear bumper just slightly will set that off... the thing goes crazy and it is illegally over the decible limit in MI... supposively if a ground squirrel got in my car... it would kill it... not that I endorse killing ground squirrels... but I found that an interesting fact.

The screen looks sweet!!! I find that although my cell phone holder works great at holding my i730, it also works well as a knee holder!!!! Damn long legs of mine....

Default BIG Problem with 2004 cars and your install.

Hi,

Can you verify if your car is a 2004 model? From what I understand from dealers etc is that installing your Pioneer unit to a 2004+ car is a problem ie: the infinity amps are "data" triggered and not "12V"... can you shed some light on this....
