Default GAS 91 Octane

Manual specifies the use of 91 Octane gas. I use Shell 93 Octane.

CrossTech or anyone else - Can you advise if this is a potential issue? Thanks.

NOt an issue according to my service dept at dealer. They actually say the 93 is better.

the only reason they suggest 91 is b/c in cali, you can't get anything higher than 91(at every gas station, of course race fuel stations are going to have higher)..

And they also have 91 in Europe and Asia.

Higher octane won't hurt your vehicle unless the octane rating was achieved with additives indicated in the manual as "not recommended".
