Biggjay-radio LED does not vary in intensity when the headlights are on or off. It has one intensity-low and non visible.

the only other suggestion i have is to change the leds to a different color in the display, but that could be exspensive and time consuming,,,,

Sent an email to Chrysler today concering the Infinity's radio's daytime light. They will probably just send a "canned" answer, but at least I put it in the record.

I have written a formal complaint to the NHSTB about the radio. I am stunned that the Chrysler Corp has not at least sent a mailing to all of us about the problem and to say that they are working on a solution. Our next move is a class action suit to get some attention to the situation. How stupid to have a magnificent car and close your eyes to a blatant, fixable problem. Lexus and BMW would never be so disgraced!!

I complained about the display and the Service manager said "That just the way is is. No help. I told him I was writting to Chrysler about it. No comment from him. we just need to keep complainin, maybe Chrysler will get the message. Need to find an attorney who owns a Crossfire.

Why don't we all take them out of the car and throw them though the dealers window. When they ask why you did this say "Thats the way it is"

If chrysler doesn't have a fix for the radio what do you expect the dealer to do. If chrysler gets enough complaints they MIGHT do something about it.I'm gonna let the chrysler rep. know about it and hope for the best.

I heard from a reliable source that Chrysler is putting together a recall to fix the radio. We should hear something soon (I hope)!!!

My dealer called Chrysler and was told they were working on a nav system that would be ready in December.

Hopefully the navigation system will be something that can be retrofitted into a Crossfire that didn't come with it already installed. Navigation is a pretty important feature to me, and something that is very disappointing to me about the Crossfire. If they make it so that it can't be installed by the early adopters of the Crossfires, they would be screwing their best customers...

might:

Chrysler--screw their customers--never

It might be like the alpine unit, which fits in the current position. Heck at this point I would be happy just with a radio replacement...

Having my windows tinted today. Hope that helps. Be nice if the replacement was a Nav System, silver of course - with a fold out screen. Compensation for all the "aggravation" I (we) have suffered.

Lets just get this radio light problem corrected. This seems to be a BIG problem for DC.

If they can't put in the correct light for a car radio, how good would their navigation system be?

Very good article in Oct. "Road and Track". First time the radio problem is addressed in a review.
