Default Eibach Springs

Eibach is currently working on developing lowering springs for the Crossfire. They should be released within a few months. The part number is 2864.140.

There's quite a bit of height that the Crossfire can afford. I hit things with my 300M that clear fine with the Crossfire.

Something I do appreciate on those nasty driveways and crazy potholes.

Does anyone make height-adjustable hydrolic shocks in the aftermarket? Like the ones they have in the SL55 AMG or the SL500?

eibach's are good if u just want the car alittle lower and alittle stiffer.. if you want a more performance orientated setup i would wait for h&r to devolp something.. i hated my eibach prokit, way to soft for me..

later..

H&R and Eibach will be about the same. The only difference is that you could go with the cup kit. The problem is the camber would be way off and a camber kit is 1200 dollars from Australia. I can get Carlsson and Brabus springs if anyone needs them. They are exclusively Mercedes but they will fit.

I'm probably going to go with the RENNtech springs and camber kit. It's $525 for the lowering kit, $495 for the adjustable rear camber and bushings kit, and $555 for the front camber/caster kit. Expensive, but I don't think you can get anything better than that.

I just checked kw's website(company that makes awesome stainless coilovers for european cars, some american cars now also), they have no applications for slk or the crossfire.. they have it for c-classes, e-classes, clks, and sportcoupe(whatever that is) but no slks.. i found that odd.. http://www.kwsuspensions.com/ if anyone wants to check out they're stuff, as they do have other dc applications(pt cruiser, neon, viper).. $525 for the renntech kit is a really good price if its a cup kit (struts/springs, matched for each other), frankly I'm suprised at how good the pricing is..
i dropped 900 for fully adjustable coilover suspension for my car, no regrets whatsoever..
