Default Crossfire Exhaust

So, I took a trip under my car and it looks pretty neat and nice down there.

But here's what I noticed about the exhaust system, 2 pipes coming out to 2 cats, then they merge into one pipe and that goes into one muffler which has the 2 chrome exhausts in the back.

Not much space at all in the trench they have to fit 2 pipes all the way to the back over the drive axle.

Would be interesting to see what the aftermarket designers come up with to increase exhaust flow.

Yes, it will be interesting. I think it will be a few months before we even hear anything. I'm going to contact some manufacturers and see if there is anything in the works...

The SLK doesn't have a center positioned exhaust. Haven't seen the underside of an SLK yet but they may arrange things a little differently.
