Default Wing goes up when I start the car

Every time I turn my car on the wing automatically goes up. I checked the the manual and there was nothing about this. Is there something wrong and a way to fix it or is this just what happens when you start the car?

Have you tried pushing the button while sitting in park till the beep to lock in position.
sometimes you have to do it while in park.
If you shut it off while the wing wasnt fully closed it will continue to deploy.

My car is a 6 speed so I don't have park and even if I did the wing goes up as soon as the engine is turned on. Like I said, I don't know if it is a problem with the car or not but it is just annoying to have to put the wing down every time I start driving.

That's not normal. You should take it in and get checked out if you're under warranty.

Any ideas on what could be causing this?

Have you disconnected your battery lately?

Your flux capacitor is malfunctioning.

Seriously, it sounds like an electrical issue. Take it to your dealer.

My car did the same thing and what I determined is it only happened after the car was stored for the winter. I now keep a “Battery Tender “on the car during storage and have not had the problem since. These cars do all kinds of strange things when the batteries are low or not in good condition the computer gets a little wacky.

I would hazard a guess that the car is getting a bit to excited .... you know what I mean.

haha you guys are hilarious!

If you don't mind, what kind of battery did you get zy123456?

Their seems to be a debate on what battery a crossfire owner should get, maybe you can clear things up by telling us your experience with your new battery? (size, fitment, price, etc.)

I put a duralast gold battery in the car.

http://www.autozone.com/selectedZip,.../selectZip.htm

I paid about $170 for the battery and it came with an 8 year warranty.

I just posted for the same issue, before I saw this. I guess it's a low battery.
