Let the hood mods begin...
Re: Let the hood mods begin...
She's done..........I brought the 6 home tonight and as I was driving I noticed I picked up a damn screw in one of my NEW tires. I spent the last 2 hours at the tire store having it temporarily patched as it's in a "not safe" zone and I had to order a replacement. Here's the best pic I could take so far....................

Well it was certainly worth the wait. This has been one of the most interesting threads on the forum bar none! Unlike so many involved mod threads, yours actually crossed the finish line. You were great in keeping us updated with the progress each step of the way, so I really enjoyed that.
We may be in LV in a few months as we own some property there, I hope you'll have time to let us see your masterpiece in person.
Bummer about the tire hope it was covered by a road hazard warranty.

Thanks to all of you guys for such nice comments............here's some decent pics I just took when I was in the garage finishing up my offroad toy. I did have the lettering in the vents painted accent silver but it is sooo small that you cannot tell it unless you're up close and it's in the shade or at night.

Here's the fresh candy blue(used to be solid red) Polaris Rzr..........

It's kind of odd that I started both of these projects a little over a month apart and they ended up finishing on the same day.

I'll meet up with any member(s) interested in shooting the $hit when they're in town. I'm usually free on weekends.............well maybe not now that I finally got my off road toy back "on the road" again.

Send your hood off and get a carbon Fiber Copy made of it!
I will send you the information of the company that could make Carbon Fiber copys of any hood you want!
Some guys and I on another car forum did it after getting a list of guys together and running a bulk buy.
The hoods were around $800 after fabrication and a list of 30 guys!
I will post the information tomorrow while at work!

Beat u to the punch.... Mopar I know we have talked about this before but after seeing this hood I have to agree...... Sometimes you put so much work into something that no amount of money is worth the fact that you will always be the only guy who has it.
