This looks really good, can't wait to see it finished. Congrats for the idea. The XK is sweet.
The intakes will make a huge difference in the looks of the car. After you have finished it you should install the size intakes of the new jag XF also.

But the hood design would probably work quite well on the Crossfire.

I worked on it a little Sunday. I finished welding up the front edge where the spine is and ground off the remaining/excess glue,paint and removed all the rivets. Another cool thing about the XKR skin is that the center section sits up above the crossfire hood about 1/2'' in the middle(about a foot wide) and creates a nice little cowl effect as well. I considered sealing it off but then decided to just add a little brace in the middle and leave it open to provide even more heat to vent out of the engine bay. I ran into a little snag on the front edge where the aluminum meets the steel and have to do some underside surgery to be able to glue/rivet in a nice reinforcement plate before I can start the fiberglass and filler work. She's coming along slow and steady and I hope to have all of my external mods done and ready to debut at this years Mopars at the Strip(mats.com).
