Hello, we have 3 confirmed paid orders, and one donated hood, that the gentleman is arranging to bring to us from Ft lauderdale. We need paid orders to get started as it is very costly to make the mould for a small production run. We are excited to get started. Thanks for your message.

not interested in buying the custom hood, but would be interested in a stock hood if after all this pans out, someone wants to sell theirs...I have a mod in mind, but would like another to experiment on...back to your thread...

*ACCESSORIES PRIORITY* I want a Code 3 Pully and a AAR fiberglass scooped hood. Can only work one into my budget for now. (Code 3 Pully) - I can buy this anytime in the future. It's not a limited production run. (AAR HOOD) - This is a one opportunity purchase. It's a limited production run! What should I do??? >>>> It's a No Brainer Decision!! >>>>> (((( H O O D ))))

Don, I hope they cash quickly. I've got a truck if anyone needs transportation to the recycle center.

I have been off the forum for several months, because of my work, so I have not been able to keep up with what is new.
The last time I was on though every body was talking about building this hood and that, and here it is 3 mos later and still the only one i see is that whit car with the amx scoop on it.
At first i didn't think much of it but it finally grew on me until I found out it came from american motors. Since I'm a chevy guy we usually just laughed at Ramblers, but I have to admit I did like the amx.
The last time I was on I said nobody should ever put a amc part on their car, but after taking more time to really look at the pictures it does change the look of the car quite a bit.
Now I read that somebody is actually willing to build the darn thing and no body is ordering it. Whats up wit dat?
I personally would still like to do a 69 camaro cowl scoop for my base car, but I know it would cost me a heck of alot more to do it myself than it would to just have the amx hood built for me.
I don't get to drive my car much myself, and it just sits in the garage at a friends house, so i probably should not be thinking about spending any more money on it. But if I was, it would probably be this hood.
I just hope when I finally do make up my mind on what I am going to do, the company is still willing to build it for me.

well im not saying i speak for everyone but there was a thread in the srt section about getting a new hood and a poll was done. and about 20 people said they wanted a new hood. i think its just the styling. i know there is the guys that think it is a new AMX. i am not whatsoever a AMX fan so i would never want that hood on my srt. and reading through the first thread about the AMX hood you can see it is not liked by many people on this forum. as long as he likes it thats all that matters but i think most people want something a little more subtle. just my .02

I'd have to say pretty much the same thing as Voyager. Nothing against the AMX hood but it's styling is not to my liking. I'd like to see a viperesque hood but that's just me. I threw something together a while back that quite a few members seemed to like. Guess you could see how much they really liked it.

Well, all you guys and gals that arn't partial to this look are right, it's not for you. I myself am having so much fun, I love the way it looks now and will enjoy a little more change in appearance with the new hood. Heck, I even like the way the limited wheels look on the car when I put on my Winter tire setup. There is a good chance I put them on for good when I need new tires. They are easier (general term) than the SRT wheels to clean and think they look pretty darn good.

Hey, I like diced spam in my morning eggs too! Go figure!

Thanks FP, You truly are a "LapTop Piccaco" when it comes to "photo shop".

I asked FP if he could change the color of my car to give everyone some idea as to what it would look like in something other than white. I thought it might "tone" it down some.

Here's black. Not perfect, but should give you an idea.

Once again FP thanks!
And that white rocker panal treatment has me thinking of another mod I've had in mind for some time.

FP, you want chrome rockers, I have a place you can order to fit..I thought about it, but I would only do it if I went chrome wheels...decided to stay stock...but I can get you the info if interested...all you would have to do is stick them on...they would come flat, but you can bend them pretty easily...they are for trucks, but will work for our rockers...just a thought...

No, I would rather have slightly flared skirts on mine. It'd be nice if AAR would do that for us.

When two more orders come in I'll show you how good it looks in black! Then everybody will want one.

FP, thanks for putting my minds "vision" onto electronic paper.

I'm still in for a fiberglass hood. My desired styling isn't written in stone. But it must be functional. I'm glad we are discussing this. So much less stressful than mediation with my X-wife. Don
