So, I wonder why ours don't have the signiture plate? Because they weren't going in MB cars?

I'm going out on a limb here but I don't think the srt6 is made by AMG. Merc probably used the 32 block and rotating assembly and slapped on the SC, I don't think they are hand built like the real AMG32. but who knows?

not to pick a nit, crush a crumb, and be a curmudgeon, but that engine is a DOHC, meaning it's either an M272 or an M273, not an M112 / M113. Still, great finds!

the first link is the m113 engine, and yeah the second link is the 4 cam motor

More likely that AMG and Dailmer Benz KNEW that the vehicle would have a Chrysler badge and didn't want what is a Mercedes Benz signature line to be showing up in a 'Chrysler' product.

I suspect the engines were still built the same way... one tech, one engine. They just left off the signature plates.
