Default Any Down-faults to Sprint Booster?

I've been reading a lot about the Sprint Booster and I'm trying to figure out if there are any negative effects from it? Can it cause any damage? From what I've read, it doesn't look like it can, but I'm just wondering. Thanks.

Does a ticket count?

To answer the question there is a lot of info on the main thread but short answer ... NO.

Yes, there are some faults with it. A little problem I've noticed when I had it installed was that the pedal resolution kinda sucked.
The next problem I have, is that it tricks the ecu into advancing the throttle to wide open at about 20% throttle, when before it was wide open at around 80% throttle.
I found I had to reset the throttle position after every drive or it would get kinda weird. Keep in mind I have a 6 speed version of the SB and I never tried the automatic SB but I'm sure it would do the same.

As for throttle response time it works like a charm, I believe the Automatic just has a slower response time than the 6 spd, but for all those other bugs it has caused me to remove it. I couldn't stand driving the car anymore in stop and go city traffic, it was just annoying for me. I like the stock settings best!

Definitely not worth the $250 your money is better spent with an ECU chip or exhaust.

I have the auto stick, and Ii have had no problems at all. The improvement for me was very noticeable. I would not even consider removing it. I think most of the feedback from the others echoes mine.

It is the best thing I have done to my car... Extremely noticeable and well worth the money. I have had no problems and have NEVER had to "Reset" my computer since I installed it.

I love mine and I think it would seem strange driving without it now.

In a word...great...

There is/was a survey on the boards for those that installed the SB. The vast majority of the votes cast were positive. I have the automatic version and it's made the car a blast to drive...or more of a blast to drive!

I completely agree... I have the manual version and adjusted my driving style to it within seconds... love it. The car just drives like it should have from the factory ... you might (just possibly) have a problem with the SB if you do not have enough foot coordination to walk in a straight line or have a prosthetic right foot. I also found no need to reset the accelerator.
