Default Tornado Storm - 11/30/2016

Looks like I made it thru the tornado that hit Simpsonville, SC this past Wednesday. Crossfire was covered with debris, but nothing large enough to cause any damage.

Whew!

You are lucky that both you and the Crossfire made it through unscathed.
Glad to hear that. The car can be replaced but you cannot.

I used to think that tornadoes were attracted by the aluminum in trailer parks, but that is an urban myth according to Snopes.

Yes - That is the car cover I use to protect the Crossfire when it's outside the garage. Storm pretty much tore it up. Stitching along several seams was ripped open. Cover got caught on the PS-side mirror which kept it from totally flying off. Gonna have to buy another one for Christmas.

Attached picture is house next door which had multiple trees thrown again the front side. Trees are only about 20-30 feet from the Crossfire. Our garages & driveways are next to each other. Glad their overturned wheel barrow wasn't thrown against my cars! Near Miss Incident!

I'll provide pictures of the backyard later today. Trees everywhere!

Ouch!
We thought we had a lot of work to do when a couple of maple trees leaves fell on the lawn and garden the other week.
