I'm back out. Sorry. We got a new job sheet today and the number of ships listed to be docked doubled and my bribed worker demanded twice as much. I just won't pay that much. Ya'll have fun tho.

John, What an INCREDIBLE get-together...most enjoyable thing I've done in years!!! The hot-laps were truly AWESOME!!! It was great to see everyone again and meet Quinton as well. If I learned one thing...it's not to get in front of Sharon on a race track. She will drive right up your tail pipes!!! Hope everyone made it home safely and I'm looking forward to the next one, but this one is going to be hard to top...you've set that bar pretty high! Thanks again.

 

We need to put a post about our track time in the coupe section so that everyone will read it. Maybe next time we'll have a few more join us. Last night was the most fun I think I've ever had driving a car, any car, in my life. We have to tell the whole forum about this.

It was great meeting everyone! The hot laps WERE AWESOME...even though I couldn't take the laps as I'd liked to...it was still thrilling. Definitely something I could do again!

 

Q - it was great to finally meet you and I sure hope that you can find out what is wrong with those tires/spacers or whatever it was that threw you off!! I look forward to seeing you again soon!!

Just wondering if anyone looked at there right front tire today. Mine does show some extra wear on the outside edge. Myself, I'd gladly give up a 1,000 miles worth of tire wear for the evening that we had on that track.

Quentin, Glad to finally meet you. I hope your able to get the tire situation taken care of before the next GTG. I guess having an extra set of wheels and tires might come in handy for situations like this.

I'm going to call Rusty tomorrow and inquire about the lady that was taking pictures at the end. I'll also ask him if the track did any type of video taping.

I was thinking today about the Nov 24 Crash a Rama and I'm not overly sure that would be a good time to go. It's on a Friday, so that might be tougher on work schedules, and also it's going to be a smash up everything in site nite. I'm not sure how debris free the track would be for us. They are having another Sat night race on Nov 11th. I'm going to inquire about this date too. Any opinions about either date? This will be the end of the season until sometime in '07.
