Well, I still haven't purchased the top yet. I'm waiting for the guy on ebay. He said he would have another one soon. And that is the least expensive option right now. As I have offers on three houses and waiting to see which one bites first I don't want to put out a bunch of money right now.

So, looks like I will be top down on Saturday. Unless there is rain... we'll see.

Would like to join you all on Friday, but it is my Best Friends birthday..

The site said we needed helmets. Do we provide our own or do we get loaner ones when we get there??

Thanks.

I'm not sure where you saw that. Helmets are not required. It's a heck of a lot of fun!

Saw it on the TMS website, maybe it was for something else.

What do we need when we go out there?

Exactly. TMS has several opportunities for non-professional motorist to drive on the track. They can cost upwords of $500. But this is the only one where you can drive your own car...and for only $30 that goes to charity

well this will be my first TMS event with my crossfire. Looking forward to meeting everyone, just hoping the rain doesnt screw anything up. Glad the helmets are not a requirement (I would have to use my niece's pink plastic scooter helmet). See yall there.

Arriving:
DFW Dallas/ Fort Worth - Friday Sep 10 @ 8:10 PM

Departing:
DFW Dallas/ Fort Worth - Sunday Sep 12 @ 4:10 PM
Currently I am still looking for transportation once we arrive.

Friday:
I am looking for one other person to pick me and David up at the airport on Friday night and take us to Motel 6.
Eric said he will come but with a Crossfire he can only pick up one passenger.
I will be bringing David with me and he needs a ride to.
Anyone else able to help here on Friday night ??

As for Sunday..
Dan (InfernoRedXfire) will be taking the tour with us at the Cowboys Stadium and will pick up David from Motel 6 in the morning sometime but I am still looking for someone else to pick me up and come along to the stadium for a tour with us.
Then after the tour we both need a 15 minute ride to DFW Airport to catch or flight back home.

Our flight info is shown above so please post here if you can be of help please.

Has DFW survived the storm and are the roads clear? The news reported Dallas and Ft Worth got hit pretty good with flooding.

All clear now. We got 10 inches of rain today at our house! We hit a record for 24 hour rainfall today.

Hey gang, can anyone else help Gary & David with rides?

I will take the van to pick them both up on Friday if no one else can help out... it sure would show great Texas hospitality if two crossfires would pick them up.

Thanks Joe.
Just coordinate this with Eric and if you can both come I know Eric will be happier to drive his Crossfire.

Now anyone else available on Sunday to tour the Cowboys stadium with us and then go to the airport around 2:30 - 3:00 pm ??

Way to go, Joe! Now just don't go getting lost while you're roaming all over Texas on Friday.
