A meet is planned for October 12th at Pop's soda shop on Route 66 just east of Edmond - you can read more about it at http://pops66.com/ - it has a map on the site, too. The time is tentatively scheduled for 1:00 pm, but can change if necessary. Hope to see you there!

Had a great day meeting all of you. Ten cars on our first try was a whole lot more than I expected. Lets do it again real soon. Maybe up towards Tulsa?
Thanks for posting the pictures Jon, they look great.
Man I love this car.

That was a great sunday afternoon to meet all of you.
Tomorrow, I'll try to have some more information about that track we can rent. I'm sure it would be funny to race and discover the capabilities of our cars.
You'll be kept in the loop as soon as I have more details.
Cheers

Yves

Hi everyone,

At lunch, someone suggested creating a club with a graphic for our online identity. Does anyone have expeience with creating graphics or logos?

I think Crossfire Club of Oklahoma (CCOK), since Oklahoma Crossfire Club (OKCC) sounds like Oklahoma City when turned into an acronym.

It took some time finding an acceptable balance between file size and upload time, but I have posted my pictures in my gallery. If anyone wants the 10MPix copy, PM me. I'll be glad to send the full version. :) Be sure to visit the thread I started for the second meet.

Alex and Okies, congratulations on your first meet, and very successful too it appears. Keep up the good work and be careful to avoid them "Horns".
BTW Alex, did you get the Iraq CDs I sent?

PM Sent.

John,

We discussed a OKIETEX meet Sunday. What do you think?

Alex, that is really great set of pictures. Thanks for posting. It seemed that we all had a great time that afternoon. That was a really great group, and I'm looking forward to the next meeting.

You're right about the OK group name, in that CCOK would be the better choice.

Again, Thanks.

I think it's a great idea - were you talking about this Sunday? If so, I can't make it, but would love to get with them sometime. It would definately be cool to have an interstate GTG. I would be OK with the 2 hour or so drive if it was in the north Dallas area (I'll take any excuse to drive), but it would be a bit longer for the Tulsans of the group. ;)

I saw a thread where they were going to get a group together next spring to do some laps at Texas Motor Speedway. That's something I really, really, REALLY want to do...

Well, when I brought it up I was thinking more along the lines of "OCC" Oklahoma Crossfire Club. Of course, using the same font as the Crossfire logo on the back of the car.

Just an idea. I could look into getting them made if anyone is interested. Just send me a PM.
