My sister has decided to come to visit from Milwaukee, WI the weekend of October 4th and 5th, so I have to drop my name from those 2 dates...

Should we pick a date? The nearest date with everyone's names is 10/12...how does that sound to all? It looks like we could have 6 people - awesome - can't wait!

There is a Aero Blue coupe that I've spotted the past few days at Tinker AFB parked in the lot across from the building where I work - is it anyone on the forum? Has an Alaska plate on the front and an OK plate on the rear.

Yea, been there. It is just a few miles east of Edmond, at Arcadia. Their web site is http://pops66.com/ I think that would be a pretty good place for a first meet. The place looks cool at night when they light up the "bottle".

I'll bite - 1:00 pm sounds like as good a time as any to me, but since it only takes me about a 1/2 hour to get there, I would defer to whatever is more convenient to those that have to travel a longer distance...

Re: Oklahoma Thread

I'm in for Oct 12th, weather permitting. Maybe we should move this post to a new thread in the Crossfire meets area. Never know, maybe some people from some of the surrounding cities or states will show up too.

SRT6, I think we should start to plan a meet for next year. Maybe late spring early summer. So we could maybe get a larger group like they do for the Dragon Run.

A meet is planned for October 12th at Pop's soda shop on Route 66 just east of Edmond - you can read more about it at http://pops66.com/ - it has a map on the site, too. The time is tentatively scheduled for 1:00 pm, but can change if necessary. Hope to see you there!

Hi everyone,

At lunch, someone suggested creating a club with a graphic for our online identity. Does anyone have expeience with creating graphics or logos?

I think Crossfire Club of Oklahoma (CCOK), since Oklahoma Crossfire Club (OKCC) sounds like Oklahoma City when turned into an acronym.

Alex, that is really great set of pictures. Thanks for posting. It seemed that we all had a great time that afternoon. That was a really great group, and I'm looking forward to the next meeting.

You're right about the OK group name, in that CCOK would be the better choice.

Again, Thanks.

I think it's a great idea - were you talking about this Sunday? If so, I can't make it, but would love to get with them sometime. It would definately be cool to have an interstate GTG. I would be OK with the 2 hour or so drive if it was in the north Dallas area (I'll take any excuse to drive), but it would be a bit longer for the Tulsans of the group. ;)

I saw a thread where they were going to get a group together next spring to do some laps at Texas Motor Speedway. That's something I really, really, REALLY want to do...

Well, when I brought it up I was thinking more along the lines of "OCC" Oklahoma Crossfire Club. Of course, using the same font as the Crossfire logo on the back of the car.

Just an idea. I could look into getting them made if anyone is interested. Just send me a PM.
