Just let me know when you plan on meeting. I am in the first season of a new business and don't know when its going to slow down for the winter so my free time is very limited.
Lets get this together soon though, before the weather turns on us. Lookin forward to it!!! |

Re: Oklahoma Thread
My sister has decided to come to visit from Milwaukee, WI the weekend of October 4th and 5th, so I have to drop my name from those 2 dates...
Should we pick a date? The nearest date with everyone's names is 10/12...how does that sound to all? It looks like we could have 6 people - awesome - can't wait! |
Re: Oklahoma Thread
There is a Aero Blue coupe that I've spotted the past few days at Tinker AFB parked in the lot across from the building where I work - is it anyone on the forum? Has an Alaska plate on the front and an OK plate on the rear.
|
Re: Oklahoma Thread
That's really interesting Guys. I live in Edmond and work at Tinker. I have a machine gray convertible Xfire, OK Plate. I'd like to meet you guys;just need to chech my availibility before adding my name on that list.
Cheers |

Re: Oklahoma Thread
I'm in for October 12th. I'm optimistic I will have the 6 back by then.

Re: Oklahoma Thread
Count me in for 12 October at Pops 66.

Re: Oklahoma Thread
Someone care to set a time for this GTG?
I will be leaving from the Tulsa area so anyone that wants to convoy down Route 66 to Pops, let me know. |

I'll bite - 1:00 pm sounds like as good a time as any to me, but since it only takes me about a 1/2 hour to get there, I would defer to whatever is more convenient to those that have to travel a longer distance... |
Re: Oklahoma Thread
I'm in for Oct 12th, weather permitting. Maybe we should move this post to a new thread in the Crossfire meets area. Never know, maybe some people from some of the surrounding cities or states will show up too.
SRT6, I think we should start to plan a meet for next year. Maybe late spring early summer. So we could maybe get a larger group like they do for the Dragon Run. |
Re: Oklahoma Thread

A meet is planned for October 12th at Pop's soda shop on Route 66 just east of Edmond - you can read more about it at http://pops66.com/ - it has a map on the site, too. The time is tentatively scheduled for 1:00 pm, but can change if necessary. Hope to see you there! |

Hello from Chicagoland....
I enjoyed some of the pics in the galleries from your meet. It looked like a great day with a good turnout. This is just an extension of this forum. Connecting with strangers who share a common interest "The Crossfire" I have also attended several meets now and have always enjoyed the people I have met and seen again. I am looking forward to Halloween weekend at "The Tail of the Dragon" meet in North Carolina. Thanks for sharing you pics and posts here Gary |
Re: Oklahoma Thread
Had a great day meeting all of you. Ten cars on our first try was a whole lot more than I expected. Lets do it again real soon. Maybe up towards Tulsa?
Thanks for posting the pictures Jon, they look great. Man I love this car. Joejet Black 07 coupe |
Re: Oklahoma Thread
That was a great sunday afternoon to meet all of you.
Tomorrow, I'll try to have some more information about that track we can rent. I'm sure it would be funny to race and discover the capabilities of our cars. You'll be kept in the loop as soon as I have more details. Cheers Yves |
Re: Oklahoma Thread
OK Guys,
The pictures I took Yesterday have been posted in my Gallery if you want to have a look. Have a great week !! Cheers |
Re: Oklahoma Thread
Hi everyone,
At lunch, someone suggested creating a club with a graphic for our online identity. Does anyone have expeience with creating graphics or logos? I think Crossfire Club of Oklahoma (CCOK), since Oklahoma Crossfire Club (OKCC) sounds like Oklahoma City when turned into an acronym. -Alex |
Re: Oklahoma Thread
It took some time finding an acceptable balance between file size and upload time, but I have posted my pictures in my gallery. If anyone wants the 10MPix copy, PM me. I'll be glad to send the full version. :) Be sure to visit the thread I started for the second meet.

Re: Oklahoma Thread
Alex, that is really great set of pictures. Thanks for posting. It seemed that we all had a great time that afternoon. That was a really great group, and I'm looking forward to the next meeting.
You're right about the OK group name, in that CCOK would be the better choice. Again, Thanks. Marty |

It would definately be cool to have an interstate GTG. I would be OK with the 2 hour or so drive if it was in the north Dallas area (I'll take any excuse to drive), but it would be a bit longer for the Tulsans of the group. ;) I saw a thread where they were going to get a group together next spring to do some laps at Texas Motor Speedway. That's something I really, really, REALLY want to do... Jon |

Of course, using the same font as the Crossfire logo on the back of the car. Just an idea. I could look into getting them made if anyone is interested. Just send me a PM. |
