LOL, It's the internets bro, relax a little.
On every forum there are old timers who disdain the inquiries of Newbs, and their silly questions or profound observations. Don't be all butthurt, he responds to most in a sarcastic manner, but 180 knows about as much about this car as anyone else.

Nope, those would be OEM R171 SLK vents... the standard R171 had black vents, AMG editions got the silver strakes on top. They're around $400 if I remember correctly.

THe car is far more Mercedes and Chrysler, that is for sure. It was built on the engine/drivetrain/chassis of an SLK320, assembled in the Karman factory by Germany's largest labor union - the only thing "Chrysler" about it is that Eric worked for Chrysler when he designed the original body, Dyson worked for Chrysler in the UK when he pushed to get it built - and that it was sold under the Chrysler name.
Fact is, it's a Crossfire, whatever that means - so mine looks like this:

***Bentley/chrysler front/rear gel domed ***Black/Chrome | eBay
To be fair Chrysler SRT did do some nice tuning on the R170 , the german mags said the "yankee slk " was the better drive at the time.
