Very nice but where is the warning light telling you that the passenger airbag was turned OFF so that a baby seat could be installed safely?
A passenger could be involved in a crash and the airbag would not deploy, a lawsuit could follow for the cars owner and the maker of this faceplate.
The manufacturer of these should make a modification to incorporate it.

 

I believe this is the best option (full touch screen with camera, Satnav, hands free phone connection) and kept the old radio if I ever want to sell
one touch for heater controls etc.

 

Pioneer just showed off there new 2020 single din apple car play/android auto head units. Its a floating style unit that will be available in 10 inch or 9 inch. Its something im considering for my car when it is released.

 

I have an interest in this technology and I have some questions. A single din is a physical description of an opening measuring 2 1/8 x 4 1/4 as I understand it. A double din is twice as high. Its a universal measurement used by all manufacturers Why is this unit referred to as a single din as it wouldn't fit a single din application. I want the features but do not want to alter the car unless something can be easily removed and does no damage.

I hope it works for you. It's not clean enough for me and I look at it as a workaround. They may call it a "floating head". to me its just something that will get in the way. I think better stuff will come over the next year. Just sayin.
