Fairly new member...Found this thread today..I never really liked the look of the hood lines, didn't know there was an original. I would like to be put on the list. Don't know much about body work, but it can be prepped and painted, correct? If so, on the list.

 

Yes it can be prepped and painted. I'm pretty sure a few members have done it. You can also just google "Painting Carbon Fiber Hood". I'm sure you will get your answer.

Yes the down payment of 400 is required. Your payment can be sent via paypal if you have doubts. However, Mad Med has done this in the past and I have full faith that he won't be screwing anyone over. I am sure Mad Med will provide us with a means to contact him.

Hey everyone sorry having to back out of this. I thought I was safer with my job but ended up getting laid off so I should probably not do this at this time. Sorry to cause any inconvenience. Hope y'all still get the hoods!

 

What is the expected delivery timeframe? I am in need of a hood and was considering this as an option.

That is a very good question, at this time I can't make any promises or even give you a time frame. First we need to have 10 confirmed with cash in hand. We are at 7 right now. Sorry, wish I could be more helpful. If you can be patient, I can promise this hood will be worth it in the end.
