Offered here is a very gently used MAGNAFLOW muffler. It was removed from MrPhotoMan's SRT6 after he sold it to forum member Stryfox. I got it from Stryfox but decided not to install it because after installing the Needswings downpipes on my SRT6, I was happy with the exhaust tone. Doing that would take up valuable and precious cargo space that could better be used for another case of (Red Dog) beer! . . . LOL

No problem since we'll be driving a Suburban and trailering the SRT6 to the Tail of the Dragon again this fall.

I honestly don't know . . . I presume so. It has a 3" inlet which could be modified with an adapter pipe if necessary. I'm sure there are some more knowledgeable forum members who would know for sure . . . Anybody??

would something like this allow for this muffler to be used on an NA?

 

I posted under the engine & exhaust category asking about putting this muffler on a Crossfire NA. Looks like all you need to do is weld in that 2-1/2" to 3" adapter and it will work fine for you. E-mail me directly at RedDogNumber1@aol.com and we'll complete the deal . . .

Bumpity Bump . . . Still available (Crossfire 1989 went in a different direction) . . .

 

The stock tailpipe exiting the SRT6 resonator is slightly less than 2-3/4" OD; not sure about the NA OD. We also have a several inch offset from muffler center to get to the tailpipe alignment. Not sure if MrPhotoman had a resonator delete or custom catback installation or what, but this nice Magnaflow muffler w/ tips setup will need some bends involved for proper installation. No big deal for a muffler shop. Hope this helps.

The exhaust on the car it came from was stock except this muffler.
The rear cats were hollowed out but still there.
I know because I bought mr photomans car and removed that muffler.
It sounded very good I just prefer the stock tips.
