Feeler for part-out
Re: Feeler for part-out
I need drivers side visor if available.
I would also be intested in carpet, headliner, a pillar cover on driver side, rear hatch glass.
Exactly what is being left on chassis? I hate to see a good chassis crushed.

Does this mean squirellcrusher will finally get his tail light? lol

Which tail light did he need, BTW?
Bill -- No problem on the row of switches... Once I get all items separated I'll price them and let you know!
MrMoPar -- Sunvisor is no problem, $25 + S/H will cover it. Headliner was starting to fail, so I'm not sure you want that one. If I can remove the carpet w/o ruining it, we'll see about that one. As for what's left of the body... you can kinda see in the photo... Anything behind the front fenders should be golden. Passenger door is bent, as the RH fender was jammed into it.

Re: Feeler for part-out
John, you mentioned the headliner was starting to fail, I would be interested in that as well as the interior bits aft the headliner going into the hatch area, including the plastic pieces around the rear glass. Let me know, especially if Doc is driving down, that would save me some serious shipping cash....
Thanks!
Thanks!

John
If that was a male driver that hit you I'm sure you would like to teach him the finer points of MMA fighting. LOL
My heart bleeds for you every time I see those crash photos.
But I love the sight of his car in the turned turtle on a post position.

Re: Feeler for part-out
I know this is a HIGHLY unlikely scenario, but any chance the rear view mirror in there was the OEM auto dimming from a ltd? if so, i'd be willing to buy it at whatever the cost if it's not too much trouble.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Trust me, I haven't seen the car since the impact and I'm almost nauseous about it. Everyone that has seen the photo has made the comment of "Wow, Crossfires are robust! Normally the SUV vs sports car meeting ends quite differently..."
Yes indeed.
For the believers out there, I still give full credit and glory to God for keeping us safe... crumple zones can only do so much. A witness said his Pacifica literally somersaulted over Kim's side of the car. My car basically acted like a ramp for his vehicle. The passenger compartment on my car was never touched.

So, it would be a lateral swap.

JHM2K, how about both visors?
Do you have driver side A pillar cover (you did not say from my original post).
Definately interested in carpet, and the black side panels in rear with floor cover.
How about console or pieces of it?
Door sills?
Silver trim sections in center of dash and on console? Any available is fine.
Oddly enough, I could use the dashpad even though it is split, I need to use for grain pattern and general shape for a fiberglass piece I want to make.
I know front fascia is toast, however, I could use as well for a pattern piece, I want to make mold for lower lip, and to develop pattern for lower spltter.
Why don't you call me about chassis, would be easier than discussing here. 419 573 2122
Thanks

Re: Feeler for part-out
^^ Sounds good, I will give you a call later tonight and discuss.
I got off the phone with my agent earlier, the police report is released today so there won't be any action from the other insurance company until that's in ink. I'll be picking it up at around 8pm tonight...
I asked about the buy-back, he said 90% sure that won't be a problem but some companies were weird about that. I told him I'd be weird towards the other company if I can't get my car back and strip the one-of-a-kind items from it. This wasn't your average Crossie...
I will try to compile a list of all parts that are "spoken for" as many people have sent me direct PM instead of posting in this thread, and it's a messy paper-trail. I will get all of that organized tonight so everyone knows where they stand.
Again, this is all assuming I'm able to get the car back (which I should).
Fingers crossed...
